  1. I watched not long ago BB Kings Sing Sing concert directed by D. Hoffman, for some reason my mind wondered, if I were in prison and Conan would come there, for any reason, standup, concert, vaudeville, anything, I truly believe I would feel alive and free as I believe many were at that concert, judging by the scenes before, during…what I mean is, I think, Conan touches people in ways, very few do

  2. I'm reading Chris Stein's 'Under a Rock' at the moment, his wonderful memoir of growing up in New York and his subsequent career with Blondie. A great read – highly recommended.

One of the anecdotes is about how he spotted a cup of urine on top of a low wall outside a brownstone in Brooklyn, and he walked by there for months, just to look if it was still there. Apparently, this was how taxi drivers used to get rid of their 'leaks', as they weren't allowed to take bathroom breaks.

That was the first thing I thought of watching this clip, but apparently, this story is far more fascinating. Possibly, this is also where this 'artist' got his inspiration from.

  3. Conan: "Chos? I don't know what that means"
Bleyaert: "I think it's Chums and Bros – your Chos."

Aaron Bleyaert is an essential part of the Conanverse, like how Cinnamon Toast Crunch that's been fortified with thiamin, niacin, and riboflavin is part of a complete breakfast.

  4. Because that's what viewers want in 2024. We want broken up clips of podcasts with commercials we could otherwise skip forced in them. Thanks guys.
