  1. If June tried to keep Elenor alive, They would have to contact the ambulance, and Elenor would have given the plan away. All of them would have been dead.

It was either Elenore or all of them.

  2. When Luke got pulled out of Fred's cell, he didn't have his folder full of "evidence against Fred," which makes me think Fred is going to destroy most or all of it, and they're going to have to let him go back to Gilead, forcing Serena to make a choice between staying in Canada with Nichole or going back to Gilead with Fred.

  3. I wish they would have described the symbolism of June crossing her hands like Commander Lawrence did when standing over his wives grave. The look in his eyes when he was staring at June, made me think he had a feeling that June let her die…. Did anyone else notice this?

  4. ***RANT / OVERALL OUTLOOK ON SERENA.***

Ok so we know all Serena has wanted was a baby. She wanted to be a mom so badly and although she did not have a good relationship with June during her pregnancy, I feel is aside the point…

Remember… Serena helped June get Nicole out of Gilead. She too wanted to protect the baby & knew this was the best thing for her. She strugggled immensely when it came time to say goodbye and June allowed her to have her goodbye moment willingly with Nicole.

Yes Serena and June have defintely had their moments of hate and resentment, but they have also worked together on several occasions. I believe Serena does have love forJune, because she has been able to start making major changes starting with Fred. He is ultimately the one who deserves to be punished…

I believe Serena wants to change and do the right thing. At the same time, the only thing she loves is the baby. I believe her love for Nicole is genuine but also heartbreaking because she knows the reality of the situation and feels a lot of confliction within herself.

A part of me wants to believe that in the end, Serena either ends up having her own child eventually or when June finally makes it to Canada (and then sometime in the future) she would allow Serena to be a part of Nicole's life…

Just my thoughts on it. I just love how well Yvonne Strahovski plays the role of Serena. I know most people hate her (I know I've had my moments) but I honestly love Serena. I hope she gets to turn into a badass like June and destroys Giliad.

  5. Little question, what meant fred when he said to luke that he changed his wife? I remember the last time june Saw fred she say to him somethings very hard

  6. Honestly, I get why they let Eleanor die.
    1. She wasn't happy, and she was never going to be able to be happy again, even if she escaped. She was rifled with an unnamed mental illness, either brought on or made worse by total guilt.
    2. She was having trouble keeping herself together and secretive around people who weren't even prompting her. The guards would've questioned her b/c she OD'd, and I doubt suicide is anywhere near legal in Gilead. I'm actually surprised they had a normal funeral for her.
    3. Going off of that, her obvious suicide attempt, had she lived, would've brought on them a lot more attention, medically, legally, etc., which would have made the new plan fall apart.

So I think that June had an awful choice to make: either she saved Eleanor (who likely did not have hope for getting better and at least is guilty of standing by and watching her husband create Gilead) or she saves 52 children (who are completely innocent and have a chance of a real and better life).

  7. This is it! I can't wait to watch that finale on Wednesday morning. I'll have plenty of treats to indulge on that night, then sleep afterwards.

  8. I'm very satisfied with the season finale, I loved it, I cried, I applauded and now I want more seasons. I don't know how I'll wait that long for season 4.

  9. This is so stupid. It's a classic example of a straw man argument. The bible doesn't teach this, it teaches that a man shall leave father and mother and cleave unto his wife.
